Our Mission:
The Mission of the Modesto Chamber of Commerce Foundation is to build partnerships, grow leaders and attract philanthropic resources in support of our region’s residents, businesses, and Chamber partners.

The Vision of the Modesto Chamber of Commerce Foundation is to inspire philanthropy and energize the leaders who create a better path to prosperity for ALL in our community.

The Foundation Focus:
- Scholarship awarding, benefitting business growth and development as well as agriculture advancement and future work readiness success in and around Modesto, Stanislaus County, and the Central Valley region. This focus area provides opportunities to expand the growth and prosperity of our greater business community.
- Leadership development carried out by the Leadership Modesto annual project exposes a highly diverse group of professionals to a broad array of business, government, public safety and services, and industry. The classmates fundraise to create an annual community project/gift which impacts a broad community or niche non-profit need from within and around the community at large. The focus of this program is to strengthen the future leadership base of our community by deepening their understanding of our community through exposure to the inner workings of all.
- Economic, Workforce, and Community Development, is carried out by hosting/co-hosting training with access to referral resources through partner networks. We develop and partner on career exploration programs/platforms which lead to mentorship, internship, and apprenticeship experiences. The various efforts encompass program designed for students from 6th grade on, as well as across all levels of career and professional experience, and across all sectors of business and industry in and around Modesto, Stanislaus County, and the Central Valley region. All this invested to strengthen the skill sets and career offerings for our future workforce as well as access to resources and support of our newly formed businesses or evolving existing businesses. Collectively enriching the vitality and long-term resiliency of our region.
- Support for all facets will come through private and corporate donations, event participation, and grants.
This Corporation is organized and will be operated to advance and support the community of Modesto by serving the greater Modesto area, regional businesses, and community prosperity through advocacy, collaboration, access to leaders, economic development, connectivity, and business education. This corporation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public and charitable purposes.
